Grow your creativity, refine your voice, and build a business that supports your life.

My approach to photography is rooted in connection, observation, and intention—and the same is true for how I teach.

Inside these offerings, I share the creative frameworks, mindset shifts, and practical tools that have shaped my work, so you can create images that feel like you and build a business that feels sustainable.

Come as you are.

The way back home

This retreat blends real-life shooting, creative education, and personal reflection so you leave both inspired and equipped.

This space is for photographers who feel something similar…

If you’ve been feeling the pull toward something new, toward work that feels more like you, you’ll fit right in here.

I’ve always loved my work, and I still do. But over time, something in me began to shift. What once felt meaningful started to change, and I found myself staying where I was for longer than I needed to because it felt easier than facing the growing pains that come with change. I worried about losing clients, about providing for my family, and about whether I could even afford to evolve. There were so many reasons to stay the same, and a lot of fear. Not because my old work was wrong, but because I was growing. This retreat is what I wish I had in that season.

what this experience holds

If you’ve been feeling the pull toward something slower, more intentional, and more like you, this is your space.
I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you find your way back to your voice.

We’ll also create space for honest conversation around:

• burnout
• creative seasons
• permission to change
• letting go of who you used to be

Because your growth is what shapes your art.
You won’t just leave inspired. You’ll leave supported.

This includes:
• guided journaling
• group conversations
• writing to your creative self
• goal setting
• a clear plan to take home with you
• you still love your work, but you feel a shift happening
• you’re craving something deeper, slower, more intentional
• you care more about connection than control
• you want your work to feel honest and aligned with who you are now
• you feel ready for a creative evolution, but you don’t want to navigate it alone

the kickback

The Kickback is a short, intentional workshop for photographers who want real-life learning without the overwhelm.

A chill, creative mini workshop

We’ll start with a 2-hour open Q&A where nothing is off limits, marketing, client experience, pricing, creative burnout, session flow, editing… whatever you’re navigating in your business, we’ll talk through it together in a relaxed, honest way.

Then we’ll move into a 2-hour live shoot, where you’ll observe how I approach a session from start to finish, how I read light, gently guide, connect with families, keep kids engaged, and allow real moments to unfold naturally. I’ll be fully present with the family while you observe the flow, the prompts, and the in-between magic that brings a story to life.

This isn’t a stiff classroom.
It’s laid-back, conversational, and creatively refreshing.

This is for you if you:
– learn best by watching and experiencing in real time
– want fresh inspiration without committing to a full multi-day workshop
– crave honest answers about business and client experience
– want to see how a full session can flow naturally for 2 hours
The Kickback is:
  • low pressure
  • connection-driven
  • honest
  • intentional
  • and creatively energizing

Come hang. Ask questions. Watch the process.
And leave feeling inspired, grounded, and ready to create again.

THE EDITORY

The Editory is a two-day, hands-on workshop for photographers who are ready to:
  • Refine their editing process
  • Clean up color and skin tones
  • Confidently handle a variety of lighting scenarios
  • And finally stop second-guessing their galleries

This isn’t a “watch me work” kind of experience.
It’s real-time, side-by-side learning — from the field to the final export.

A Live In-Person Workshop on the Art of the Edit

"Editing isn’t about fixing —
it’s about finishing your story with intention."

You’ve mastered connection, posing, and storytelling.
Now it’s time to master what happens after the shutter clicks.

After 7 years of teaching sold-out workshops that focus on client connection and creative direction, I’m bringing you something new — a workshop built around the edit.

What is editory?

Workshop overview

Day One: Light in Action

Day Two: The Deep Dive Into Editing

  • Presentation on how different light affects your final edit
  • Real-time shooting with a curated styled session.
  • We’ll walk through direct light, side light, backlit, sun flares, mixed light, golden hour, and blue hour
  • I’ll guide you throughout the session, showing you how to adjust in the moment to get edits you love
  • It’s low pressure and hands-on. You’ll get time to shoot and experiment without worrying about missing “the moment”.

JULY 25TH & 26TH (SOLD OUT)
Sept. 19th & 20th (1 seat remaining)

Location: Logan, utah

This workshop is for you if…
  • You want your edits to feel elevated, consistent, and uniquely yours
  • You love shooting but feel stuck or unsure when it’s time to edit
  • You’re ready to confidently deliver galleries that feel full, dimensional, and professional
  • You want to shoot in all kinds of light — and know exactly how to edit it later

Who's this for?

The Editory is more than a class — it’s a shift in the way you see your work.

Come shoot, learn, and grow in a creative space that’s warm, honest, and full of possibility.

Spots are extremely limited to keep things personal and hands-on.

Now it’s time to master what happens after the shutter clicks.

This is where the magic happens. We’ll meet for a focused deep dive into editing, learning how to:
  • Color correct in different lighting situations
  • Fix gray or dull skin tones
  • Get consistent greens
  • Handle tricky shadows and blown highlights
  • Make your work feel more intentional
This isn’t just “watch me edit.” This is real-time, side-by-side teaching. We’ll walk through tools and techniques together so you leave knowing how to bring your own sessions to life — from start to finish.

“Revolutionary. Genuine. Talented."

These are just some of the words I would use to describe BreAnne and learning from her during an in-person workshop as well as 1:1 mentoring. My work has forever changed for the better because of the way BreAnne reframed the way I think about my business, my clients, and the sessions themselves.

Continuing my education in my own business journey has been the best investment! I have watched my work go from flat to dimensional; from bland to beautiful; from boring to storytelling. Forever grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a groundbreaking creator in the field.”
