“Posed Unposed” is the approach I’ve become widely known for, which focuses on enriching the visual narrative by creating an environment for authentic expression and connection. The art of observation is the heartbeat of my work. I value safety, depth, openness, and leading from intuition… I make my art by dropping into the natural flow, and relating to the joy that’s always present.

My four boys have shaped me as a photographer more than anything else. When I first became a Mother, I used to get lost in the chaos, but they helped me find the beauty in it. They’ve taught me to be grateful for every moment, which is one of the reasons I fell so in love with the camera — it’s a way of honoring the precious and fleeting nature of time. Life flies by so fast… when I’m behind the lens, I can reset my internal clock and find magic in each moment of each day.
