The Wilds Zoo Columbus, OH | Campbells Wedding | Traveling Wedding Photographer

Traveling to Columbus, OH several times the last couple years has become a home away from home. I was so happy when Paige & Braden reached out to have me photograph their wedding. They are seriously the absolute sweetest and cutest couple. Their love for each other is so pure and I loved capturing every part of it!

The whole planning process for these two was so hard! Their wedding venue on them cancelled 2 months before their wedding and they had to scramble to decide on a date change and/or wedding location. I think everything worked out the way it needed too! They committed to each other on top of a gorgeous hill surrounding The Wilds Zoo. This zoo is so neat. No cages. It’s more of a free roaming zoo. You hop on a bus and it drives you through the park. It’s like a whole safari experience! We started the day with beautiful sunshine, then during the ceremony a storm was heading our way. We got through all the ceremony with a couple of drops. We did some more family, wedding party and formal portraits to hopefully work faster than storm. Right when we walked under the tent it started to downpour! It all worked out so beautifully!

Paige and Braden had me come photograph all the most important parts of their wedding day. Time with each other getting ready with their friends and family, family photos, ceremony, portraits of the two of them and their first dance. I think the way these two did it was absolutely perfect! If you don’t have the budget or the desire to have all events of your wedding covered, why not save hundreds of dollars just having the most important parts covered?!

Enjoy scrolling through one of my favorite weddings this year. I love simplicity and when weddings are focused on the connection between them and their loved ones.

Jerilyn + Jason Wedding | Utah Wedding Photographer

Jerilyn is one of my favorite brides!! She actually changed her wedding date so I could photograph her wedding! What?! Seriously made me the happiest person alive.

Jerilyn and Jason met on a blind date and the rest is history! He said I love you first. She loves his not so much jokes and he loves her ability to make everyone feel loved and make friends quickly. They both love lazy Saturday mornings and also hikes, camping, hammocking and visiting with their families.

Jerilyn had a vision for her wedding to be a mix of Boho but still hold elegance. I think she totally accomplished that! She brought so much rich color in with florals and outdoor reception along side a pond.

Their day sadly didn’t go as planned and their catering company was late and their bridal party prepped all of the food served. Even with all the problems with the caterer, Jerilyn handled it like a champ and still had so much fun! Friends and family are so important to them and they greeted and thanked each and every guest that came. They are very loved and they have a very special place in my heart!
